解析 汽车燃油着火不能用水灭火。因为油和水不相溶，而且油比水轻，会浮在水面上。如果用水灭火，油在水上面，水起不到隔绝空气的作用，而且因为有水托着，油的表面积反而会更大，所以接触空气的面积会更大，火也就着的更大了。所以给油灭火不能用水。
